If you are planning to attend this important event, you have the opportunity of improving your Spanish or get a basic knowledge of it at Colegio Ward, right after the Conference.
Colegio Ward is a bilingual (Spanish-English) methodist school located very close to the city of Buenos Aires, at only 4 hours drive from Rosario. We have a wonderful campus of 13 hectares where our children of over two years of age and up to Teacher’s Training Program, develop their daily activities.
Colegio Ward is celebrating its 95th Anniversary this year and wants to share it with colleagues from different parts of the world who are interested in:
- Learning or improving their Spanish;
- Meeting different people with whom to talk and learn more about Argentine culture;
- Sharing experiences with colleagues in a relaxed environment;
- Getting to know the city of Buenos Aires, its main buildings and areas, visiting art museums, having a tango-dinner and a “gaucho’s” day in a rural town…
Our intensive Spanish Living Program offers this in a week (40 hours) of intensive work, which alternates academic work with a cultural and tourist program.
Accomodation:
Merner Hall, at Colegio Ward. This is an important building with simple but nice and cozy dorms.
Meals:
Most of them at our Dining Hall on campus.
Academic program
It’s a 40-hour program, combining classes, workshops on different subjects, special meetings, tourist visits that will help expand your vocabulary, communication opportunities and learning by seeing, listening, doing, and getting in touch with people from Buenos Aires.

Al finalizar este importante evento, usted tendrá una gran oportunidad para mejorar su idioma inglés u obtener conocimientos básicos del mismo en el Colegio Ward de Buenos Aires.
El Colegio Ward es una institución educativa metodista bilingüe (español-inglés), ubicada a minutos del centro de Buenos Aires y a 4 horas de Rosario. Contamos con un amplio campus de 13 hectáreas donde nuestros alumnos, desde Sala Materna hasta los Profesorados, desarrollan sus actividades diarias.
Este año el Colegio Ward celebra su 95º Aniversario y desea abrir sus puertas a colegas de distintas partes del mundo que estén interesados en:
- Aprender o mejorar su dominio del idioma inglés.
- Conocer distintas personas con las cuales conversar y aprender más, acerca de la cultura argentina.
- Compartir experiencias con colegas en un ambiente distendido.
- Conocer la ciudad de Buenos Aires, con sus barrios y arquitectura típica, visitar museos, cenar con un show de tango y pasar un día de campo en una típica estancia de las pampas argentinas.
Nuestro Programa de Inglés ofrece una semana de trabajo intensivo (40 horas) que alterna el trabajo académico con actividades culturales y programas turísticos.
Hospedaje:
En el Edificio Merner del Colegio Ward. Este importante edificio es sencillo pero cómodo y agradable.
Comidas:
La mayoría son servidas en el Salón Comedor de nuestro campus.
Programa Académico
Es de 40 horas de duración. Combina clases, talleres sobre diferentes temas de interés, encuentros especiales, visitas turísticas y todas aquellas experiencias que le permitan incrementar su vocabulario en contacto con la gente de Buenos Aires.
