Día 10/ Host families day

Today we had the day off to be with our host families. We went to a festival at a school in the area where I practiced Japanese calligraphy, I saw some art shows and and a piano concert of the students. Then we went to a restaurant to eat noodles, a typical Japanese food. In the afternoon we went to the most known shopping mall in Japan, where I spent a great time with my host sister.
At night, we did what we usually do in Argentina on weekends, meeting at home with friends and eat an ‘asado’ (bbq), where we also played bingo and had a very fun night.

My name is Florencia Maceri and I am 16 years old. I have been studying in Colegio Ward since the age of 2, in Kindergarden. I am part of the school's Band, in which I play the saxophone. I also practise dance two days a week. I really enjoy doing these activities as I believe both, music and dance, are two ways of expresing myself and also having a good time. I am really looking forward to being part of the Forum, as I am very interested in what it concerns about the environment, how it is being affected, and in which ways we are able to help. Moreover, I believe this experience of travelling, being in contact with people form different countries, and knowing about different cultures will provide me useful skills for my future.
